I received a call claiming to be from a well-known organization, insisting there was an urgent issue with my account. The caller was pretty convincing and knew some personal details, which initially got me concerned.

However, before sharing any sensitive information, I decided to verify their legitimacy by contacting the official customer service number of the organization directly. Turns out, it was indeed a scam! The official reps confirmed there were no issues with my account.
